Cookie Policy

1. About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how TrySpinFever.com uses cookies and similar technologies across its Australian, Canadian and German regional folders.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small data files stored on or accessed through your browser or device.
They can help a website:
- remember settings;
- maintain security;
- measure visits;
- understand website performance;
- record campaign attribution;
- personalise advertising;
- load external content.
We may also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags, local storage, software-development tools and advertising identifiers.
References to “cookies” in this policy include these related technologies where appropriate.
3. Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary
These technologies support core website functions such as:
- security;
- network management;
- fraud and abuse prevention;
- contact-form delivery;
- storing cookie preferences;
- basic website operation.
Strictly necessary technologies cannot normally be disabled through the consent interface because the website may not function correctly without them.
Analytics
Analytics technologies help us understand:
- how many people visit the website;
- which pages they view;
- how visitors arrive;
- how long sessions last;
- whether pages or links perform correctly.
These technologies are activated only where the required consent has been provided.
Behavioural Analytics
Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar may provide:
- heatmaps;
- session recordings;
- click patterns;
- scrolling behaviour;
- navigation information;
- technical performance insights.
These services should be configured to suppress or mask form-field contents where supported.
Marketing and Retargeting
Adform may use cookies or advertising identifiers to:
- measure campaign performance;
- record website visits;
- create advertising audiences;
- recognise returning browsers or devices;
- display SpinFever-related advertisements on participating websites;
- measure resulting conversions.
Marketing and retargeting technologies are not necessary for the website to function and require consent where applicable.
External Media
YouTube may place or access information when an embedded video is loaded or played.
Embedded videos should remain blocked until the visitor accepts the external-media category. We intend to use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode where technically available.
Affiliate and Campaign Attribution
Campaign-tracking technologies may record:
- campaign ID;
- affiliate ID;
- click ID;
- referring page;
- destination page;
- registration or deposit conversion;
- promotion-related conversion events.
No TrySpinFever.com browser cookie is shared directly with SpinFever.com. However, tracking parameters may be passed in the destination URL and conversion outcomes may be reported back through our attribution systems.
4. Technologies Used on TrySpinFever.com
TrySpinFever.com is hosted through Webflow, which also processes information submitted through our contact forms. Cloudflare supports website security, traffic management and content delivery. These services may process essential technical information required to deliver, protect and maintain the website.
We use a cookie consent-management platform to record and apply visitors’ cookie preferences. Google Tag Manager is used to organise and control website tags, but the presence of Google Tag Manager does not mean that every tracking service loads automatically. Analytics, behavioural tracking, advertising and external-media tags should only activate after the visitor provides the relevant consent.
With analytics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic, page performance and general visitor behaviour. We may also use Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar to produce heatmaps, session recordings and interaction reports that help us understand how visitors navigate TrySpinFever.com. These tools should be configured to mask or suppress information entered into contact forms and other sensitive fields.
With marketing consent, we use Adform for campaign measurement, audience creation and retargeting. Adform may record website visits and advertising interactions, place a browser or device into a relevant advertising audience and display SpinFever-related advertising after the visitor leaves TrySpinFever.com.
TrySpinFever.com also contains embedded YouTube videos. YouTube content should remain blocked until the visitor accepts the external-media category. Where technically available, videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
Affiliate and campaign-tracking technology may also be used to record campaign IDs, affiliate IDs, click IDs and resulting conversion events. This helps us understand whether a visitor referred from TrySpinFever.com later registered, deposited, claimed a promotion or completed another defined action on SpinFever.com. TrySpinFever.com and SpinFever.com do not directly share website cookies.
The precise cookies, providers, purposes and expiration periods currently active on the website can be viewed through the Cookie Settings interface.
5. Current Cookie List
The exact cookie names, providers and expiry periods may change as providers update their services.
The current live list should be displayed through the Cookie Settings interface generated by the website’s consent-management platform. That live declaration should form part of this Cookie Policy.
The consent-management implementation should identify, for each technology:
- cookie or storage name;
- provider;
- purpose;
- category;
- expiry;
- whether it is first-party or third-party.
This is more reliable than maintaining a static list that may become outdated when Google, Microsoft, Hotjar, Adform, Webflow or another provider changes its implementation.
6. Typical Retention
Our intended service-level retention is:
Cookie consent preferences are normally stored for between six and twelve months, after which the website may ask the visitor to confirm their choices again. Records showing when and how consent was provided or withdrawn may be retained for up to three years after the most recent consent selection.
User-level and event-level information collected through Google Analytics 4 may be retained for up to 14 months. Microsoft Clarity session recordings may be retained for approximately 30 days, while aggregated click and heatmap information may be retained for up to 13 months. Information collected through Hotjar, including heatmaps and session recordings, may be retained for up to 365 days, depending on the active account settings and service configuration.
Visitors may remain in an Adform retargeting audience for up to 180 days, or for a shorter period configured for the relevant advertising campaign. Campaign click IDs, affiliate attribution records and reported conversion events may be retained for up to 24 months for reporting, attribution and campaign-performance analysis.
General website security and server logs may be retained for up to 90 days. Information connected to suspected fraud, a security incident, a legal complaint or another investigation may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary to investigate the matter, meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Individual browser cookies may expire earlier or later than the general periods described above. The current duration of each active cookie should be displayed through the website’s live Cookie Settings declaration.
7. Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used to organise and deploy website tags.
The presence of Google Tag Manager does not mean that every tag should load immediately. GA4, Clarity, Hotjar, Adform and external-media tags must follow the visitor’s consent selection.
Google Analytics explains that Consent Mode can prevent storage of the Analytics client identifier where analytics storage has been denied.
8. Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how visitors navigate and interact with the website.
Clarity’s Consent Mode should be configured so that cookies are not set before valid consent is received in regions where consent is required. Microsoft instructs website owners to pass consent signals through its Consent API or a supported consent-management platform.
9. Hotjar
Hotjar may record general website-interaction patterns and produce heatmaps or session replays after consent.
Hotjar states that its recording tools suppress keystroke data in website input fields by default. However, the implementation should still be tested to confirm that contact-form fields and other potentially sensitive areas are properly suppressed.
10. Adform Retargeting
Adform is used to measure campaigns and retarget visitors with SpinFever-related advertising.
After marketing consent, Adform may use tracking technologies to recognise a browser or device, record relevant website interactions, create an advertising audience and measure whether an advertisement leads to a later conversion.
Rejecting marketing cookies does not prevent access to TrySpinFever.com. It means that we should not use Adform cookies or advertising identifiers for personalised retargeting through this website.
11. YouTube Videos
YouTube videos should initially appear as a placeholder, thumbnail or consent notice.
The video player should load only after the visitor accepts external media. Where available, the embed should use the youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced domain.
Google states that privacy-enhanced mode prevents embedded-video views from being used to personalise the viewer’s broader YouTube browsing experience and advertising outside the website.
12. Managing Your Choices
When you first visit TrySpinFever.com, the consent banner should provide:
- Accept All;
- Reject All;
- Settings.
The Settings panel should allow separate control of:
- analytics;
- behavioural analytics;
- marketing and retargeting;
- external media.
Strictly necessary technologies remain active where required to operate and secure the website.
A permanent Cookie Settings link should be available in the website footer so that visitors can change or withdraw consent at any time.
13. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to:
- view stored cookies;
- delete cookies;
- block cookies;
- restrict third-party storage;
- clear local website data.
Blocking every cookie may affect contact forms, consent preferences or other website functions.
Browser settings do not always prevent server-side campaign reporting or tracking that does not rely on browser storage. Relevant processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Regional Consent Standard
We intend to apply a consent-first approach across the Australian, Canadian and German versions of TrySpinFever.com.
For German visitors, non-essential access to or storage of information on a device generally requires consent unless a specific exemption applies. Canadian privacy guidance also treats knowledge and consent as important requirements for online behavioural advertising.
15. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this policy when:
- a provider is added or removed;
- cookie purposes change;
- retention settings change;
- website functionality changes;
- legal or regulatory requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
